The Beximco Denims Ltd (the "Company") was incorporated in Bangladesh as a Public Ltd Company. It has commenced commercial operation in 1995 and also went into the public issue of shares and debentures
in the same year.

The shares of the Company are listed in the Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchanges of Bangladesh. The Debentures is listed with Dhaka Stock Exchange. The Company is a member enterprise of the Beximco conglomerate and the address of the registered office of the Company is House No. 17, Road No. 2, Dhanmondi Residential Area, Dhaka 1205. The industrial unit (the factory) is being located at Beximco Industrial Park in Sarabo of Gazipur.

The project was set up as a state of the
art denim fabric weaving and finishing facility. During the year the
Company produced and sold high quality of light and heavy denim fabric
and bringing forth all the latest in hard and soft technologies in
weaving and finishing of denim fabric. The number of employees at the
end of the year 2005 is 200. |
